Dr. Kristin Adams, Board Member
Dr. Kristin Adams (Board Member) is a long-time resident of the Mud Creek Valley area, having moved here to raise her family and start her medical practice in 1999. She currently practices obstetrics and gynecology at Community Health Network. Throughout her career, Kristin
has held a number of leadership roles and been honored as a “Top Doctor” by Indianapolis Monthly magazine. She and her husband, Dr. Franklin Roesner, are involved with several local nonprofit organizations and play an active role in conservation here in the Valley. She also works to further connectivity and healthful recreation in Lawrence Township and surrounding communities as a founding board member of Indy’s Urban Wilderness, a local trail advocacy group whose projects include an extension of the Fall Creek Greenway.
Kristin received a BA in biology from Earlham College, with work in field biology, ecology, and zoology, and earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. In seeking to join the board of the Mud Creek Conservancy, Kristin brings not only leadership experience, but also deep connections and commitment to the community as well as a passion for nature and its conservation. When not working to promote the health of the community, she can be found walking and biking local trails, working in her garden, and enjoying good food, friends, and family.
